Description: Released in conjunction and for use with the Intellivoice module, B-17 Bomber uses digitized speech to warn gamers of impending doom. The effect is cute and probably as much as anything else, left Intellivision owners with the feeling that Mattel was working hard to enhance their system. Much of what's conveyed via the voice module could have just as easily been displayed as on-screen text.
Easter eggs: If you start in practice mode and bomb the bejeezus out of England, the score will run out of numeric characters and start displaying text, graphics, and eventually some bonus items from Lock 'N' Chase
Country / region: USA

Santulli Slant: This is one of those games that bring back fond memories of youth. Joe to John: Watch what happens when you bomb those hospitals. John to Joe: It doesn’t affect my score, does it? Joe to John: I dunno. Do it anyway. BOOM BOOM BOOM Intellivision to John: That was not our target! John to Joe: That felt good. Now if only there would be screaming invalids running from the building... THAT would be realistic. [Gr: 9, So: 10, Ga: 8, Ov: 9]
Periodical's review: Received an honorable mention for "Best Audio-Visual Effects (Less than 16K ROM) of 1983" by Electronic Games Magazine.
