Description: Together with Stampede, Pitfall was the first third-party game made available for Intellivision. It was eagerly awaited by Intellivision fans as it gave them to opportunity to play what they would call a “superior” version of one of the most popular Atari 2600 games of all time. It’s almost as if Activision Intentionally tried to stay faithful to it’s cash-cow, the Atari 2600, by not making the game all that much different in appearance from the Atari 2600 version. Scoring over 20,000 points could get you an "Explorer's Club" patch by sending proof to Activision.
