Description: K'stner programmed this entire game in just three months! One of very few arcade licenses under Mattel's belt. Mattel was forced to choose from the "leftovers" as Atari had the big bucks to secure the hottest arcade titles. Interestingly enough, Mattel found a true sleeper in this mildly successful arcade game as it turned out to be a favorite among Intellivision gamers. A point of note, although you wouldn't know it by playing the game, the folks at Mattel also programmed the ColecoVision version of this title. Burgertime was the first Mattel release independent of their “series” of color-boxed, themed games.
