Thanks to all the links: John Skruch, Juli Wade, Steve Jungels, Greg Omi, Jerome Strach, Eric Ginner, Bruce Coleman and Tom Gillen. 1 to 4 players can lynx up in this game. Notice the SGM in the bottom right corner of the title screen. Those are the initials of Artist Susan G. McBride. Always an arcade favorite, this faithful adaptation even features a new character: Larry the Lab Rat. The newspaper headlines in the game are quite amusing with such gems as "Giant Lizard Eats Pizza-Lovin' Plumber.", "Giant Monster Quoted: 'Play Shanghai Or Else…' While Destroying San Diego" and "There Are No (Buy A Lynx) Subliminal Messages (Or Two) In This Game (Buy A Lynx)…"

Easter eggs: To play on any level, select a character and press pause while on the character selection screen. Hold Option 1 and move the D-pad when the headlines appear to change levels.

Santulli Slant: With a few subtle differences to make it more than just an arcade port, the tiny version of the game with the big monsters works rather well on the Lynx. Gosh how I wish I could be a giant monkey. I'd settle for being a medium-sized monkey, even, but the ability to smash stuff like this is just the ever lovin' end. [Gr: 7, So: 6, Ga: 7, Ov: 7]
