Description: Majority of levels by Chuck Sommerville and Charlie Kellner. One of the first releases for the Lynx, this title was designed by Epyx and was originally called "Time Quests and Treasure Chests". Atari then licensed the Gauntlet name from Atari Games/Tengen and used it on this title. 1 to 4 players can lynx up in this game. Aside from the Wizard and Valkyrie, you can also select one of the following characters: Android, Gunfighter, Nerd, Pirate, Punk rocker, and Samurai. Sadly, the Warrior and Archer are nowhere to be found. So how come they're shown on the box and manual artwork? This game required you to rotate and hold your Lynx 90 degrees to the right.
