· A prototype version exists, dated 1981, that is more like Pac-Man (pictures #1 and #2). Most of the game was changed before release (pictures #3 and #4), although the “Munchman” name was kept.
· Cheat mode: Hold down SHIFT and press 8-3-8 on the title screen. The score you get when playing in this mode is shown as "Test Score" instead of "Your Score".
· Near the end of the game, Munchman actually does “munch” things!
