Every game system has a good game or two for it and the Channel F is no exception. Most bash it and say it has no redeeming qualities, but Alien Invasion proves them wrong. I won't explain the game mechanics because you should know how to play Space Invaders by now.

This game played on a Channel F Version II gives the console some redeeming qualities. If there were more games like this earlier the console would have faired better. This clone is right up there in enjoyment and on par with the Atari 2600 version.

Graphics are fantastic and offer large sprites, bright colors, and the invaders have a lot of animation for a Channel F game. Player two has a different color turret and different sound effects to offer some variety, the barriers, invaders, and mother ship all show up completely in tact.

I found myself playing this game for quite a while and really was impressed with the game. The only problem is that the system is underpowered and can hiccup sometimes and causes some minimal slowdown. It also has to catch up to you when you die. It sits there for a while and tallies up the score like an analog display on an old gas pump. If you have a Channel F you need to track this game down despite its rarity; it's very enjoyable.
