SUPER
BASEBALL
· This is basically an improved version of RealSports Baseball (picture #1), with the addition of a title screen and some improved colors and graphics (picture #2). Some of the more serious flaws with RS Baseball have been corrected, perhaps too much. The speed of the fielders has been increased, to the point that it’s very hard to hit a home run against the computer. It’s also impossible to successfully bunt against the computer – you’ll always be immediately tagged out by the catcher.
· BUG: When playing the computer, if the computer has a runner on base and gets a base hit, the runner sometimes won’t run! {Scott Stilphen}
· BUG: The computer never throws a ball!
· BUG: If the catcher makes the last out of the inning (by tagging home plate), he will remain on the screen and there won’t be any crowd noise during the changeover. {Scott Stilphen}
· BUG: On 2-player games, after striking a batter out, if you quickly sneak another pitch in before the next batter can get to the plate, it will count! {Scott Stilphen}
·
FRYING: Hold
the FIRE
button down and fry until the field appears with “HOMERUN” flashing at the
top. Your player will be invisible but it’s possible to move him
around to score. The other team’s
players will also be invisible, making fielding very challenging.
You will also start at inning “0”.
